I use OneDrive to share pictures with friends and relatives. Unfortunately the display of pictures sucks on OneDrive.
A cool feature would be to be able in OneDrive to have a button "Share this folder as a Sway" , and you would automatically have nice generated Sways from the pictures (and the captions of these pictures).
This Sway would be updated automatically when new pictures are added to the chosen folder.
This would provide a really pleasant way of sharing OneDrive pictures!38 votes
While we don’t currently support this feature, if you’re a Windows 10 user, you can use the Photos app to do something similar. Select one of your albums, then click Share → Upload to Sway (or scroll to the bottom and select “Tell your story with Sway”). This will allow you to auto-generate a Sway from all the photos in that album.
If i want to presentate with sway right button is useless and by missclick ruin the new atmosphere of a presentation, is possible to add him an utility? My idea is to use like > on R to L6 votes
Not at this time. If you want to present your Sway you can use the arrow keys, that space bar, the advance buttons on the bottom right corner of your Sway, or your mouse scroll wheel.
embeded sway in LMS. Export to SCORM package116 votes
Thanks for the feedback!
It would be awesome if I could write blog posts using the vertical scrolling sway and then sharing it on a blog platform.
Not as a smaller embedded iframe, but as a full size post, as we can see them on the sway website right now.
I created a small Sway to explain with a picture my idea:
Of course the end could automatically add a "created with Sway" or something to give appropriate credits to the app!202 votes
Save sways to OneDrive. Maybe in a way which is similar to OneNote (just a "link" to the notebook is sync, and the content "per se" is online. In the same way, just a link to the sway gets sync to the PC).
This way, the standard sharing features of OneDrive could be used by Sway.
If I put a Sway in a shared folder, everyone who can see that folder could see the Sway.599 votes
Thanks for sharing. Can you help us understand a bit of why you would want to Save to OneDrive? Is it for sharing or is it for offlne access? Are there other services you would want to save to? Why?
Interesting idea— please drop a comment if you like this idea as well.
While we scroll through a sway it should have preloaded media like videos and autoplay it when it hits the viewable part of the screen201 votes
Thanks for the suggestion!
Here’s a Sway which you can duplicate that has instructions and two auto-playing videos (one from YouTube and one from Vimeo) in it as an example.
When viewing someones sway as at the moment there are only very few available to see on sway.com, it would be good to be able to write a little review for the creator, such as ''I really enjoyed reading/viewing your sway'
It will also be useful for feedback in how others view possible improvements or corrections etc.368 votes
Thanks for the suggestion! Is it more important to you to have someone be able to comment on the entire Sway or on content within the Sway? Also, do you think of commenting as something people who are authoring with you should do or as something you want your viewers to do? Should comments be publicly visible or only visible to you? Let us know in the comments. :)
Please prevent a user from doing the right-click Save Image trick. if a photographer is going to use Sway, he doesn't want his pictures download all over the web fro free.
That’s some great feedback, and especially interesting because we have seen a lot of photographers using Sway for portfolio scenarios.
I would like if I could share my sways immediately to my wordpress and blogger blogs with a button and not by copying and pasting the embed code53 votes
Wordpress now lets you embed Sways, content from Docs.com, and Mixes! If you have a blog on WordPress.com, you can paste a link to any of these three types of content and WordPress will automatically represent the link as an embed. Keep voting for this idea if you would like to see more integration on the Sway-side.
Would there be a way to save a Sway offline? Many conferences have little or no dependable wireless, which is also true for many schools. Offline mode would be helpful. I'm not sure if it can be done since it is dynamically rendering to different device types, but a "PDF" like snapshot mode would be helpful.1,168 votes
The initial display of a Sway takes quite long time to display (as compared to a conventional web page)
Please improve Sway initial display start-up time. Especially on mobile devices with less CPU power. Some sort of server caching for the initial page view would be really appreciated.24 votes
I have my Sway layout right now going from left to right, and I can use the little scroller in the middle of my mouse to easily browse through the photos. However, for those without one of the scrollers on their mouse, or not knowing they can use that to view the images, the < and > buttons in the lower right should be a little bigger (hey, I know how it works but lots of people are a bit slower), and I also wish they would respond a bit quicker when you do click on them, as there is a lot to scroll through (perhaps leaving your mouse clicked down will keep it scrolling automatically and will stop when you release).

i can´t zoom a picture in a sway. (Tablet)9 votes
Thanks for the feedback! Currently, we allow you to click a picture to go into detailed view, but we don’t specifically have zoom.
View a Sway via an Android app.
The world has 2 billion Android users and many may be like me: I'd love to show my Sways offline. I would be keen to use Sway for my speaker presentations straight from my phone.783 votes
If we can pull in content from other areas with a sway would it be possible to have an attribution page at the end of the Sway giving credit to the pulled content source?
Can you pull in a series of blog posts via a RSS feed or maybe podcast and/or YouTube feeds? Seeing many possibilities for educational use.54 votes
A photo book is still an amazing way to capture memories and particularly the older generation appreciates it very much....I wonder if the AI/machine learning of Sway could help creating such a book out of an existing sway and move it to respective printing companies for the finishing touches.....such a feature could get printing companies to endorse SWAY and/or build add-ons in the future....62 votes
