It appears that even in on the O365 platform, Sway is entirely tied to individual user accounts, with Sways stored strictly in individuals' OneDrive for Business space? What if a group of people want to collaboratively build sways and a team (or the entire company) needs to take ownership of Sways in order to manage them as a corporate information resource? Is that even possible? If not, I see that as a major barrier to adoption as a business communication & collaboration tool, which is too bad, because I think it has good potential as a container for documentation & training content.

We’re working on increasing our Office 365 offerings! Thanks for the feedback. :)
When someone does not want to be an author or the creator of the sway does not want someone to continue being an author, there should be an option to remove that person.1 vote
We’re working on fixing this. For now, you have to reset the Share Settings in a Sway in order to remove other authors. Sorry for the inconvenience!
When inserting a document for example from word it breaks it up into different cards. It would be good to print directly to the sway or give the option to insert whole document and not break it up.26 votes
View a Sway via an Android app.
The world has 2 billion Android users and many may be like me: I'd love to show my Sways offline. I would be keen to use Sway for my speaker presentations straight from my phone.784 votes
When viewing someones sway as at the moment there are only very few available to see on sway.com, it would be good to be able to write a little review for the creator, such as ''I really enjoyed reading/viewing your sway'
It will also be useful for feedback in how others view possible improvements or corrections etc.376 votes
Thanks for the suggestion! Is it more important to you to have someone be able to comment on the entire Sway or on content within the Sway? Also, do you think of commenting as something people who are authoring with you should do or as something you want your viewers to do? Should comments be publicly visible or only visible to you? Let us know in the comments. :)
I love how you can now add embedded content to a Sway. However, I would also like to add content from more services.77 votes
Let us know in the comments which types of embeds are important for you!
I want to be able to add a layout to my Sway that allows me to create Dates and Text/Media then scroll through it like a timeline.375 votes
While we scroll through a sway it should have preloaded media like videos and autoplay it when it hits the viewable part of the screen201 votes
Thanks for the suggestion!
Here’s a Sway which you can duplicate that has instructions and two auto-playing videos (one from YouTube and one from Vimeo) in it as an example.
Need robust paste from most common apps, e.g. when I paste from Office apps, I loose all formatting.51 votes
I'd like to see how many people have viewed my sways? Are there any future features that will show stats about each sway created?
How about comments. Would like the ability for viewers to leave comments on anything they see?
Lastly the ability to hash-tag images so I could possibly create sways from tagged items alone?22 votes
To add comments and see stats about your Sway, publish it to Docs.com! Once you’ve shared it with the world, viewers will be able to like or add comments to your Sway. Read more about it here: https://blogs.office.com/2015/08/05/sway-general-availability/
To be able to create a presentation for my software that is not linear to demonstrate my company's product
The company I work for has software that is multi-tiered and the graphical nature of Sway is marvelous. I have a vision that could put together a marvelous presentation that could take an interactive tour of my software with levels that are as independent as my software. Sway I see now is linear but I see a 'coming soon' feature that possibly shows something different. The tiers of my software would be great to preview on Sway where I could go up and down as I presented so I can go DEEPER into my product.23 votes
Great suggestion! We definitely have some exciting plans for nonlinear Sways that you can see a teaser of in our “Coming Soon” section when choosing a Structure (or with some of the Sways We Love: https://sway.com/wood_burning, https://sway.com/red_panda, https://sway.com/state_flags). We want to make these more sophisticated before we let our users start authoring in them though, which is why they aren’t currently available. Thanks for the scenario suggestion! It helps us prioritize our work in what we will deliver soon. :)
More of a question than an idea. When we insert a YouTube video, the thumbnail looks blurry. Is Sway grabbing the custom thumbnail presented by YouTube, or finding a random frame to use in the video as the thumbnail?13 votes
Sway is grabbing the thumbnail provided by YouTube. Are you able to provide a screenshot of the issue you’re experiencing?
I would love to be able to view and adjust my Sway in real time from the viewing page. Adjusting my Sway from the Storyline and then needing to click to the right to view changes seems like a time-killer, especially for those trying to personalize their pages to their liking.13 votes
We are taking the first step towards this feature. Now you can edit text directly from the canvas. You can read more about it here: http://blogs.office.com/2014/12/15/sway-preview-expands-delivers-feature-improvements/ Let us know in the comments which other editing features you want to see light up in the canvas!
I would like to make my sway as Langding page
There for I need to embed HTML12 votes
Have you tried copying the embed code in the Share menu? Did this not meet your needs? Let us know in the comments!
It will be great if you could integrate services like 500px.com and Flickr.om it is a great oppt to get all the photographers to create on Sway7 votes
Thanks for the feedback. We recently added flickr as an embed type! Make sure to let us know if there are any other types of embeds you find useful.
Add Wikipedia and its sister projects (especially Commons for images and videos) as a media resource.
Moreover, this idea would go well together with support for an 'attribution page': http://sway.uservoice.com/forums/264674-sway-suggestion-box/suggestions/6543894-attribution-page-at-end-of-the-sway9 votes
We now pull Wikipedia articles into our suggested content in the Insert pane. Thanks for the feedback you’ve provided, and let us know if there’s anything else you’d like to see us do here by leaving a comment. :)
Remove animations from preview mode. It takes too long time to move in your presentation if you have long animations and lots of images. Or if you just press a key on your keyboard (ctrl for example) it would remove the animations and enable you scroll faster. Also in play mode, you should be able to move backwards without animations.9 votes
Thanks for the suggestion! It’s on our radar.
Having > 1000 pictures in one onedrive folder, it's kinda impossible to find the ones I want to embed into a sway. So please add options as they are available in onedrive (list/thumbnails) and allow sorting by name, size, date (ascending & descending) and as in onedrive, allow storing the sort type. And maybe even add a filter for date, to limit display to a specific period.34 votes
You can now use the search bar to search the metadata of your OneDrive content to help find what you need! We’ll keep this idea open though to track actually creating filters like you describe. Thanks for the feedback!
Sways currently appear with "squint print" on Windows phones such as my Lumia Icon. A "Reader" view of Sways would help people who have a hard time dealing with tiny fonts.1 vote
There is now a text level adjuster for the author of the Sway under Design → Customize. In the future, we may also allow viewers to edit the text size of any Sway they’re currently looking at.
- Don't see your idea?
