*.Padlet.ORG whitelist request for University
Here at the Queensland University of Technology in Australia, we use the Padlet tool in our Learning and Teaching tool mix.
In the last year, Padlet.com changed their business model from allowing multiple free 'Padlets' to only 3, resulting in schools and universities such as ourselves needing to procure "Institutional" licenses for Padlet - this was no problem, and also allowed us to have a custom subdomain in the *.padlet.ORG space.
Free-account Padlets (Padlet.COM) embed with no issues in Microsoft Sway. *.Padlet.ORG, however, DO NOT EMBED.
error:
"Sorry, we do not currently support this site. Please look at the more information link above for a list of supported sites."
Our technical people that look after our MS 0365 have advised they are not able to add the *.padlet.org domain (or any other domain) to a whitelist for MS Sway.
As Padlet is such a widely used tool here at the university, I fear that the inability to embed OUR Padlet domain into Sway will limit the uptake of Microsoft Sway for Learning and Teaching .
While a tenancy-level ability to add whitelist domains is what is needed in product for institutions to self-manage this feature, what I really need right now is for someone in the Microsoft Sway team to reach out and please add my individual domain to the whitelist.
This would be greatly appreciated and would assist with the greater adoption of Microsoft Sway (and associated MS tools) in Learning and Teaching at our institution.
