Better offline support
My suggestion is to improve the offline mode for (at least) presenting without the Internet connection. It could be useful to have the possibility of presenting without Windows 10 app or even without any apps (to export it as flash, for example).
Thanks for the suggestion!
I'd like a way to make playing Sways better performance specifically for poor-internet areas -- either being able to download it locally or essentially pre-buffering.
In a professional sales setting, you never know what's going to happen in that conference room where you're going to make the presentation. The Internet connection may or may not work. They may or may not allow you wireless access. The cellular signal may or may not be available there in the center of a large office building or in the basement. You can't afford to wait half an hour for someone from IT to work on the Internet connection. Customers don't want to make time for you only to hear excuses. That's why one needs to be able to load a Sway without an Internet connection.
Yes offline saving. Not everyone is connected to endless WiFi at all times or even cellular networks. Imagine having to show your presentation in a remote area with poor or no network. Not everything is hashed out at a head office in a city. It could be on a remote worksite or a backwoods fishing trip etc
Really great Tool. Most important missed function is an export/download/offline option. It's damn necessary! Please hurry.
While I love Sway so far, the times I have used it have presented issues where the Sway would need to be available for Offline presentation. The Windows 10 Sway app wouldn't alleviate this entirely since it would require use of my home laptop. The work laptops are all Window 7 Enterprise Pro with no planned migration to Win10 until 2016-Q2 at the earliest.
Preloading Sway means every end-user computer has to be online at some point before playing it. It will not be good for sways meant for distribution over LAN/Intranet will it?
Also not every single computer has Windows 10.
Can't it be just exported to a Web Archive?
I just want backups and share files without depending on the internet.
At college, we don't have an internet connection so I think it would be great to download our sway presentation. =)
At the conferences I can't use my personal computer and I'm not sure to find an internet connection and a windows 10 OS on the conference PC. I like Sway so much and would like to use it for my presentations, so please add the download PDF or PPT function

Yes. I think Sway should be more like a separate app. This way it could be accessed and worked on anytime, not just when you are on the internet as a cloud only based program.

Basically remove DRM so people can actually use it, seems to be the issue.
It should be able to be downloaded to a usb to be used on a company computer that may not have W10 but other versions or even OS.
Not everyone works on Windows 10. I know you are enforcing people to use Windows 10 but many universities or company use older version of Windows or even other OS like Linux.
At most conferences, everyone is working from the same laptop.
If Sway only works offline on Windows 10 it is going to be at least 5-7 years before I could consider it as a viable replacement for PowerPoint.

I am really impressed with Sway, but living in rural area, most places that I would give a presentation won't have accessible Internet. Being able to download a Sway onto a computer to play would convert me completely to y this tool. For now, I will make a Sway for embed, and PowerPoint for presentation.
I need to give presentations in situations where there may not be an internet connection.
I want to download a Sway to my local PC and play it offline
