Bring back the charts
The charts were great for pupils making a presenatation and wanting to show their data. It meant they didn't have to faff with excel and then import their data, it could be done quickly and easily within Sway
Thanks for your feedback. We really liked this feature too, but we needed to take it down to do more work on it. As a workaround we currently make a chart somewhere else and include it in the Sway as a screenshot. We know it’s not ideal but we’re working on it. :)
what is the workaround to create a chart in sway.
Charts are crucial to making Sway my go-to presentation tool. I would rather you deploy a working version of this and then iterate rather than taking it completely off the table. Whatever solutions your working on, it can't come fast enough.

Hi, I'm still waiting for this feature to be brought back. Is there an estimated date for it to be released again? Sway would really have a business enterprise approach if it had the chart (preview) feature.
i AM USING ITALIAN VERSION of sway downloaded and online and can't find chart card.. why?
Ability to embed all documents like before (as a document and not as lots of cards). Some recent changes are good but some brilliant features have now gone including chart card
I would like to start using sway for business presentations that can be shared online. It would be great if Sway would allow me to put in small tables so that I can put data into presentations. At the moment I can upload data as text, which is fine, but without being able to put it into columns and rows (or even use tabs to separate the data) it at all looks a bit of a mess and I am not sure that I can use Sway in the way I would like.

I agree. I used the chart and found I had to re-type in the data from a Word document. Then, as I was going along, the chart kept going to Preview mode so I couldn't find with the re-typing. When I showed it to my manager, he said "the bar graphs look good, but the bars are too large relative to the font - at least for presentation viewing". I probably could try the Remix but I like the colors and font of the mode I am using.

Also on the pie chart, Options to show titles, percentages, breakdowns maybe? would be great.
Oh if only this could connect to a pivot that would be amazing, so far loving the idea.
It would be very helpful if you had formatting options for the charts created within Sway. Currently, you aren't able to change the colors. Also, when creating a pie chart, the values shown don't even include a percentage sign. Long story short, more formatting options please :)
I try to make a chart using the chart card. It is not very user friendly. I should be able to copy a set of data and paste in the table using the table icon. It seems it cannot respond.
Suggest to open a new window and allow user to copy and paste the data. It should be able to display 3-axis type line chart.
There should be a online help like any Office365 service so that users can refer to it. The Sway is a very good product as long as it remain true to its intent. there is no need to add too many whistles. Just enable users to properly organize their sways and print them as PDF to allow others to read. There is no need to download since a link can be given to people. it is safe and secure in the cloud.

I appreciate the tool is currently in preview, but the data/chart feature is useful for only limited scenarios. I'm not talking about anything complicated, but simply the ability to flip the X/Y, Row/Column orientation of the chart is missing. You are stuck with one orientation. Also, editing the data grid doesn't even allow editing content within a cell -- only option is delete cell content and type over. Also, no copy/paste. I would need at least this level of functionality to make using it worthwhile.
