If i want to presentate with sway right button is useless and by missclick ruin the new atmosphere of a presentation, is possible to add him an utility? My idea is to use like > on R to L6 votes
Not at this time. If you want to present your Sway you can use the arrow keys, that space bar, the advance buttons on the bottom right corner of your Sway, or your mouse scroll wheel.
I'd like to be able to put a section before the Sway title, to be able to provide some sort of "introduction"6 votes
Thanks for the suggestion! In the meantime, just leave the title card blank and add a text card after it. You can add a header card after that then with your desired title. Does this achieve the look you’re going for?
Magazine layout templates... I'd do a weekly/monthly magazine ...
image with text blocks, full bleed. vertical and horizontal.4 votes
Great idea! Have you tried changing the emphasis of pictures to get full bleed? And have you tried changing the structure of your sway to vertical and horizontal, or were you envisioning something else?
Need robust paste from most common apps, e.g. when I paste from Office apps, I loose all formatting.38 votes
Offer sway apps from the office store or in sway itself that can be plugged into your sway site such as a PayPal or Stripe app for commerce or a Skype app for web based calls like in Outlook.com3 votes
Thanks for the suggestion! Can you shed a little more light on what you are making sways for and how you hope to utilize these different apps? Please let us know in the comments!
VBA or C# macro language to enable scenarios for automation, animation, interaction, and data sharing. The other Office products are not just tools -- they're amazing platforms for building customized tools. Sway is a great concept. Make it better with Macros.8 votes
Thanks for the feedback! We’re happy to hear that you can see great potential in Sway. :)
I have done many presentations with PowerPoint and in my experience, people need clear structures to understand the content. I believe that e.g. dividing lines between the sections could make the structure (especially in the Panorama Layout) more understandable. That way viewers would know immediately when the next section begins and what belongs to what.15 votes
Good suggestion! We really appreciate the context you helped set in your suggestion because it helps us better understand how to make Sway better for you and our other users. Keep it coming! :)
Switch to different views of the same object (front, rear, from above etc.) to create a tridimensional effect.1 vote
Cool concept! Thanks for the suggestion. :)
showing an industrial process to a costumer:
pointing in different part of a tool's photo grant access to different video, graph, quality report, certificates and other details about costs, performance ecc.
in the photo of a drill, pointing on the handle will show safety data, on the tip will show performance ecc.4 votes
Sounds like a cool interaction for pictures! Thanks for the suggestion.
A photo book is still an amazing way to capture memories and particularly the older generation appreciates it very much....I wonder if the AI/machine learning of Sway could help creating such a book out of an existing sway and move it to respective printing companies for the finishing touches.....such a feature could get printing companies to endorse SWAY and/or build add-ons in the future....47 votes
Add Wikipedia and its sister projects (especially Commons for images and videos) as a media resource.
Moreover, this idea would go well together with support for an 'attribution page': http://sway.uservoice.com/forums/264674-sway-suggestion-box/suggestions/6543894-attribution-page-at-end-of-the-sway7 votes
We now pull Wikipedia articles into our suggested content in the Insert pane. Thanks for the feedback you’ve provided, and let us know if there’s anything else you’d like to see us do here by leaving a comment. :)
It'd be really nice if there were a way to see what the animations were going to look like without going into the full preview view (which you'd have to leave if you want to change the animations). It'd just be nice for exploring the different layouts quickly.1 vote
Noted. Thanks for the feedback! :)
I think that if each "Text" represents an idea, they should to presented one at a time (like an slide in powerpoint...)1 vote
We appreciate your feedback! We hope that we can help you express your editorial intent in the future when we add new features.
i can´t zoom a picture in a sway. (Tablet)6 votes
Thanks for the feedback! Currently, we allow you to click a picture to go into detailed view, but we don’t specifically have zoom.
And also when inserting an object I want to be able to modify its position using the mouse and a record button which function like a position recorder of an object2 votes
Thanks for the suggestion! What are you trying to do with this type of recording? Are you looking to enhance animations or to try and illustrate a point or a concept? If you share your specific scenario with us, it’ll help us better understand your request. Please let us know in the comments!
The idea I made of Sway was an I/O software... And I discovered a wonderful output generator... Please let me include content "à la volée" : Let me write or copy text quickly, add photos or videos for further layouts or adjustings... If possible :) Otherwise I will keep my OneNote nearby ;)1 vote
Hi — we would love to hear your suggestions for making it easier to create. But you may want to post that experience on our support forum, unless you have a specific wish. Reach us at http://answers.microsoft.com
I would really like a style that would make my Sway look similar to a comic book. For example, making content boxed and changing the saturation of photos to make the color pop, including speech bubbles as a layout option for text, animations that mimic turning pages.29 votes
Interesting idea. Thanks for the suggestion!
I would love to be able to view and adjust my Sway in real time from the viewing page. Adjusting my Sway from the Storyline and then needing to click to the right to view changes seems like a time-killer, especially for those trying to personalize their pages to their liking.10 votes
We are taking the first step towards this feature. Now you can edit text directly from the canvas. You can read more about it here: http://blogs.office.com/2014/12/15/sway-preview-expands-delivers-feature-improvements/ Let us know in the comments which other editing features you want to see light up in the canvas!
I like also the possiblity to add a photosynth.28 votes
That would be pretty cool! Thanks for the suggestion. :)
... to edit sway, while it is shown on another device. This would be useful if sway is used as an infoscreen eg in Lobby. I want to insert actual information while someone watch at it somewhere else in the network. Best way: an automatic insert at a certain place (for rss-feeds for example)13 votes
Thanks for the suggestion! Keep them coming :-)
